Luz de mañana en un traje marron
(DAWN IN A BROWN SUIT)
Author: Daniel Veronese (Argentina)
…tragedy is a rosary of small woes that unravel on the sheets of a couple’s bed.
All in all, things that happen, terrible things that happen: the small disintegrations of our daily life. A couple in a confined space, their desires, their frustrations, their longings. Tragedy is no longer an event of gigantic and universal proportions but rather a rosary of small woes with which our characters weave their lives. An inside look at a couple’s daily life and its incurable disintegration.
The process of staging of Void Theater Company is reminiscent of the work of John Cassavetes. An exploration based on actors’ improvisations rooted in human relationships, but with a strong anchor in the intrinsic structure of the work.
Play presented at the Baruch College Theater
Pam Theater Festival NYC in August 2012.
