Pulsation + Olvido

This project had the challenge of transcending time and distance.
Claudia Zimmermann and I worked together years ago in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Last year we had the idea of returning to investigate movement research together and leave a video recording. The city, its context, its rhythm, its scenery were the triggers of departure. Two looks, multiplied by two readings, and as a result two videos.

Olvido (Forget): the quiet nostalgia of what it was, a melancholy that divides into memories.                                                 Olvido habla sobre la nostalgia quieta de lo que fue y una melancolia que nos divide en el recuerdo.

Pulsation: spaces with both energies, no motion-motion and the rhythm and energy of the city.                                     Pulsation trata sobre los espacios en sus dos energias, quieto-movimiento, y la energia el ritmo de la ciudad.

Director: Leni Mendez

Music: Tomas Corbalan (Pulsation)/Omar Sosa (Olvido)
